Loved looking through all the books, tons I’ve never heard of. Friendly staff but they still make you wear a mask upon entry. Excited to read this book I got about the toxic dyes we have in our clothes. Cute figurines and bags too!
One of the absolute best book stores I’ve had the delight to visit! It’s a magical place that’s dangerous to visit without a list in hand. Their selection is wonderfully curated - you’ll never have a problem finding what you’re after….and more!
lovely place!! I’m always looking out for notebooks, stationery, etc, and moon palace books didn’t disappoint. the books are well curated and the store has a welcoming vibe. masks are required, but they provide some at the door. definitely check it out for a gift or new book to read.
It’s one thing to encourage masks and another thing to require them in 2024, I used to love and support this small bookstore when it was just down the street but this is a prohibitive requirement that will keep me and the community from buying books here, simply on the precept that as Minnesotans, most of us aren’t carrying around a mask with us when out and about. Go to Uncle Hugo’s across the street if you’re in the area and the urge strikes you to seek out reading material.
Make you wear a mask it’s about to be 2024… very hipster no signs to label the book sections. Yes, advertised as Café bookstore but you can’t get to the café. Not likely to return again
We went in for one book and ended up buying a bunch of great stuff. They've got a great selection of gifts, and we got stickers, prints and a game, as well as some used books. The whole place is beautiful and welcoming. We'll be back!
By far one of my favorite bookshops in the Twin Cities! I love the variety of books there, especially from local & small publishers, as well as the diversity of stories. Also, a great place to get cards and gifts.
Wonderful bookshop with a huge selection! I wish they had more prominent (or any?) labels for the different book categories but nonetheless I was able to get some great finds. Staff are very friendly and helpful
